It's as well my nephew wasn't around back then; he'd have either been hailed as a genius or sectioned.

I think I've got a £5 set of headphones that could 'strike at Beats' (Sennheisers are good though, got two sets)

The Kindle Voyage could be Amazon's Paperwhite killer
http://www.techradar.com/news/mobile-co ... er-1265939

The changes are gonna need to be more drastic than that to make me upgrade. It'll never happen, but an SD card slot would be nice. Lighter's always good though it's not like you're straining as it is. Any improvement in battery life is always welcome. Ditching the greasy-feeling rubber finish would be a good idea IMO (I've got stickers! ). If Amazon could stop challenging Sony for buggy firmware that'd be good too

New Kindles

Nice, but they're taking the piss with the Voyage pricing and trying to really push the ads on the others by the look of it. I'm dying to see one now - the recessed screen on the Paperwhite is good if you're clumsy or whatever, but it also collects crud like you wouldn't believe. The second I got a flush Kindle I could guarantee I'd scrape the bloody thing somehow

Still, might have to test one come the time ;)

The prices of anything but low-rent games were shocking last time I looked at the store.

My kid brother just bought a Competition Pro USB Joytsick... just like the one I got, (there's a thread in the Gaming section) and it's quite nice that, after nearly 25 years, I'm still kicking his ass on Kick Off!
