Further Lulz

note, Iker Casillas and Sara Cabonero are already a couple. It would actually be funnier if they weren't though...

Tell me something, because I'm genuinely interested.

When did it become the norm to contest every decision made by a match official? Whatever happened to fair play?

It seems it's now a regular thing to blame everyone except the players for bad sportsmanship.

Webb had an alright game. The dutch complaining about the reffing is sour grapes.

Roughly late 90's.. All part of the whole Sky TV/Premier League/money/WAGs/£60k a week/made for life by the time you're 20 culture that is modern English football playing. The players are so pampered and surrounded by sycophants when off the pitch so when someone one the pitch tells them they're wrong they can't cope with it.

Wot 'e said.

It was interesting the Dutch blamed Webb - if anything he was their biggest friend on the night, they should have been down to nine players by half time.

I'd like to see a ref yellow card four players at once, the next time they all run up to him squealing and gesticulating, and for the decision to be upheld and endorsed by the FA. Rinse and repeat until the overblown fairies get the message.

Jon

That also applies to business men and politicians. Look how few politicians actually apologise for screw ups.
