Well done JV. Did my introduction yesterday at my new employers. It was part of their annual employee meeting, where they go through what the company has achieved etc. I'm really fired up now, it looks like a great company to work for.

Thanks everyone! Well, I've had my first day, and I'm back in on Wednesday and Thursday this week, switching to Weds, Thurs and half Friday from next week until they sort some more hours out for me. I'm kinda hoping that I'll be teaching pure ICT, but even if there is some English and Matchs in there, that'll be OK. I wonder how long it'll be before I start missing working in an I.T department?

Whining users were never a problem for me. IT managers who didn't know the difference between a Word document and an Excel spreadsheet... now that's another matter!

Another artworking job is on my way.
Why they always want it in such a rush beats me, but I think I can hit the deadline with some time in hand.

My father just used a leaf blower to clear dust from the bathroom extraction fan.

Would you care to elaborate on why that is both a win and a fail?

The entire bath room is covered in dust... I mean it's all over everything... towels, toothbrushes... fail.
However, using a leaf blower indoors to clear dust is frankly an epic decision full of win.
