Ah ha, welcome back.

Did she spring the surprise ball and chain on you, or are you still, titularly at least, single? :D

Titwise still single my friend.

She did have a moment of weakness a while back, she's since recovered. That was knocked on the head when I said I wouldn't even consider it until she learned to listen. ;)

The wedding was good though, met some, what turn out to be, neighbours. The Finnish contingent were relatively quiet. That was until the band that was on later started playing some tango music then there was a tornado of Finnskis rushing to the dancefloor.

Tango is huge in Finland, no idea why but there are programmes of dance halls full of people tangoing on TV just about everyday. :? :D

Bought a Trip 35 from the car boot. Lady said it's working but I know it's blatantly not. Only a fiver though. I'm going to refurb it (or at least have a go) and see what happens.

Switch to something non alchoholic for an hour or so, and then get back to the drinking. No hangovers that way. 8-)

A few weeks back I was hanging out my ass and walked into a restaurant that I'd never been into before, as I'd heard it was good and I wanted to see the manager to talk about sending my guests to him. In my best Spanish I ask politely if I can see the guy in charge but explain that I can't stay because I was very drunk last night and I need my bed. He immediately tells me I need a beer and swiftly produced two mini-bottles from under the counter and insists that I drink with him.

So I do.

Not only does he refuse to let me pay for the beer (bearing in mind he'd never seen me before and my accent and skintone would've made it obvious I was foreign) but I start to feel better almost instantly. Winning.

Yes it is illegal. Driving with due care and attention. Possibly even dangerous driving.

Looks like the driver was failing to achieve the desired manoeuvre in the first place, which makes him look even more idiotic.

Looks to me like he was only doing it because he was being filmed. Seems a bit mean to shop him for it.
