Have a weird thing for Kate Garraway...it's something I keep reasonably quiet... Irritating voice though!

I think it's fair to say her better qualities are quite obvious. Always sounded like a heavy smoker to me. I assume she's given it up now she seems to be perpetually pregnant. Jon

I can imagine that Shami Chakrabati could get very annoying very quickly (annoyance factor depends how quickly you could get her off topic - campaigners tend to get very single minded and irritating). I’m always pleased to see her on Question Time though.

Can I just say I don't know most of the people mentioned here, let alone that they're are celebrities in some fashion?

I’ve had to Google a few too. We may not “watch” the same TV “programmes” or “read” the same kind of “magazines” that others here do. *koff*

In my case I spend way too long on iGoogle with it's BBC, Sky, and newspaper links etc, plus I've also got three female family members who would happily stare at anything so long as it's on a TV screen...

Liz Bonnin (I can't be doing with the Irish and/or Ulster accent on TV, and I appreciate the irony): I don't know how I've forgotten to mention Girls Aloud:

I get up very early in the morning and channel hop . I usually can't stand more than 30 seconds of GMTV before blood starts pouring out of my eyes, but it's enough to know who the presenters are. As to some of the rest, well, I'm with you! Any one of them in particular? Frankly I would hack my own arm off to get away from that Cole woman and the rest seem a bit... airhead. Especially the blond one whose gone into acting. Lord preserve us. Jon

Not really, they're all annoying by virtue of being media-omnipresent. However the one from NI's voice sends shivers down my spine, and not in a good way I think she's from Londonderry , and I don't think anyone from here has ever heard a Londonderry accent like that before

Yes but is she annoying? I do not think that she counts as annoying, yet!

It's the Geordie accent. "eeeeeee!" "Bless you pet!" "Alright man" etc.

Yes but I can at least understand her, unlike my previous geordie girlfriend, who I could have done with subtitles at times.
