That's something that has always puzzled me. If someone's vegetarian, they presumably don't eat or cook meat. So how can they then cook a meat dish? One of my girlfriends was vegetarian and wouldn't go near meat. She wouldn't even think about cooking it, but if she did, I'm sure she would have had no idea how to cook it.

Naw, my sis is a veggie, but she prepares and cooks meat for her three boys. She doesn't won't eat it or cook her food in the same pan etc...

No problems with veggies. I do have a problem with anyone coming into my my house and dictating what I can cook or eat.

I was invited to a wedding recently. Although it was an indian wedding, all food was vegetarian and even friends who loved meat did not miss it one bit. There was no booze either but the reception was good enough that it didn't bother me in the slightest.

I'm happy to eat veggie, for ease, my diet is mostly veggie anyway these days. It's too easy to eat too much meat.

If we all turned veggie what would we do with the animals?

Eat less of them, breed less of them, produce less methane and maybe save the world? (TFIC)

Keep a few in a petting zoo, and turn unneeded grazing into wildlife reserve.

Keep a few in a petting zoo, and turn the rest of the grazing into wildlife reserve.

Not all of the grazing, because we'd have to grow a hell of a lot more vegetables.

Unnecessary animals would just not be kept. It would be uneconomic and certainly against the creeds to enslave animals for food. So they would be allowed to die off.

And, of course, nice everyone is vegetarian, you'll get the vegan lot pushing... and so on .....
