Does anyone else here have the F1 2010 timing app for the iPhone? It is really good. Shows all the information, follow the cars on track... though it is £20 but very comprehensive.

Virgin's fuel tank is too small. *FACEPALM*

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Not to my knowledge, as the KERS cars from previous years ran smaller tanks because they needed space for the battery.

I am surprised that they do not do use gyroscopes as part of the energy recovery system. They are probably lighter and more efficient

BMW did.

They had a massive fly wheel behind the driver IIRC.

No one is using it this year though.

The smaller ones are much more responsive than a larger flywheel. I am surprised that they did not continue. Though safety matters are probably a bigger reason. A flywheel contains huge amounts of energy and in a crash that could be lethal.

 They tow your car for a bit of wheel spin? That's a bit harsh.

Given who he is and that car he was driving it must be impossible to do a wheel spin unless you choose to. Obviously not Merc fans :D

Very exciting race today.

Maybe they should send a few water bowsers around the track before each GP.

 Thought it was a good race too, I was screaming at the screen when Jenson came in to the pits to change his inters for slicks but turned out to be a spot on decision! Hamilton was on fire with some very good overtaking maneuvers shame the team called him in for another set of tyres which messed up his day and top-off his weekend….

Not just that but Mark Webber taking him into the gravel with only a couple of laps to go.
