I pretty much only buy ebooks at 99p, £2 at most. I know there's tax etc, but that doesn't excuse not really owning the book or the savings in printing and delivery. A lot of new authors clearly understand the market too.

Ordered the Marvel Encyclopaedia from the book club at Emily's nursery for a bargain price of £10. The thing is bloody huge.

I think I have that one but haven't read it - I've read most of the individual ones though covering all the major DC and Marvel characters. I've even got a Batmobile book ;)

Currently reading "The Rise and Fall of the German Democratic Republic 1945-1990" by Mike Dennis.

Next up is "Anatomy of a Dictatorship: Inside the GDR 1949-1989" by Mary Fulbrook.

After that will either be "The Awful German language" by Mark Twain or "The Wandering Jew" by Stefan Heym.

Off The Record - Excellent so far, another thriller from Joe Joyce, only this one's told from the perspective of a reporter. Free with Prime too.

Can't be as bad as Never Go Back, surely?

Would have to re read that one to check. I don't know where the problem lies. Maybe it's because I've read all of the Reacher novels at least twice. So either I know what's gonna happen or it just isn't intriguing enough. It started off really promising. It just seems to sag about midway through.

I read the Reacher series all within about 5 months and of course any 'flaws' such as repetitive storylines are made more obvious and that was the problem with the most recent book Never Go Back. It had nothing I hadn't read before. Lee Child's style still keeps one reading but maybe there's not much more he can do with Reacher. Oh well, I'll get around to reading it shortly.

To be fair they shouldn't all be read back to back. I'm still enjoying his books.
