well with this heatwave you can always run about "Eau Natural" so reduce the need for washing clothes

Yes and a lot messier than me. I stick to trunks during the summer so I can at least answer the door.

So i was at Eurogamer and managed to get a Voucher for a £1 OnLive console.

Got home, bought it etc.

Apparently the Courier failed to deliver it twice (i live in an apartment and have to go to Uni so) and the second time tried to leave it with the Sales Office, got refused and now are returning it to sender (because it was "Refused by Recipient" - the sales office aren't the recipient, i'm the recipient).

This was all done by me Tracking the parcel, with it only having been sent 2 days ago. I didn't receive any sort of card, phone call or email to tell me there had been a failed delivery and had expected it either to not have arrived yet (it's only been 2 days) or that they'd leave it at the local Post Office or at the local Depot. Either of which i'd have been able to go out and collect.

Bleh.

Hello!

My name is Mr. Hugh Farming-Fookwitt.

I think I'll slurry my fields on one of the hottest days of the year.

:x

I've managed to make work for myself!

Had busy session this morning but no appointments this afternoon. Boss had to head off as family emergency. Figured it was a fault and I should have had some appointments so I could see patients. Inform practice manager who creates some appointments, only to find out that the boss intended me to have the afternoon off!

would have been nice to have been told! Sitting here, sweating my backside off. Only two patients booked in and it's just before I finish, so lots of twiddling thumbs!

On a Friday afternoon when it's nearly 30 degrees? How unfortunate...

Couldn't really in case someone needed seeing. Boss does have a genuine family issue as it's been ongoing for a few days. I know for a fact he won't be relaxing. I'm currently lying on the bed. Too lazy to go outside.

Those loud and annoying jingles that prelude iplayer programmes.

People who call every hour asking if something is complete yet. "No it isn't, I'm spending all of my time answering calls rather than working on it you imbecile. A lack of planning on your part does not make it an emergency on mine."

Unfortunately it rather depends on who "they" are and what your job title is...
