Snitch - 7/10 and I might've given it a 6. Wasn't sure on some of the directing and it was lacking a bit to make it really memorable. Nice, easy action film though, OK watch but not a classic.

Searching for Bobby Fischer

A nice relaxing story, they don't make em like that any more: 8/10

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108065/

Morpheus from The Matrix is in it alongside Ghandi.

Yes I worked it out before the announcement of who he was. Interesting use of a tribble as a plot help.

This is why I'm happy not being that smart, I didn't see it coming.
Just like I didn't see the twist in sixth sense coming until the director wanted me to.

Miami Blues - You know those films where the characters don't talk or behave like any human being ever? This is one of those.

Hangover 3 - no review required. If you like the first 2 then you're going to like this. Watch it.

Has anyone seen Ill Manors yet? I had it recorded on my Sky box for a while and due to being laid up ill all weekend I thought I would give it a whirl. I didn't hold very high expectations but I was blown away. It's certainly not a happy go lucky film so don't start watching it if you're in a chirpy mood. Ben Drew is much more than a recording artist. He captured many things wrong about Britain at the moment and I can see a long future for him in the entertainment business whatever he decides to do. I haven't seen The Sweeney yet so can't comment on his acting. You only catch a glimpse of him in this film. His rap music (not too much of it) enriched the story and all the characters were so believable it was more like watching reality show / documentary than something that had been scripted. The latter part of the film literally had me on the edge of my seat.

Go on, try it :)

I just read your tweet. I thought it said III as in 3, which left me clueless.

Stupid fonts :(

Near Dark - it's a vampire movie that doesn't, er, suck :D

For a kick off, nobody mentions the word vampire. Secondly, it's pretty short and doesn't mess about, whilst starring a lot of good character actors. Give it a go if like me it's taken you this long to catch the thing all in one sitting.

Untouchable.
Yes, predictably life affirming but still charming. I would recommend it though just to remind ourselves about being stuck in a rut and also for the immaculately opulent sets. Go on go on rent it :D

The Heist - great cast, but it's basically Last of the Summer Wine does an art heist. Your mum will find it hilarious... The leads are tooled up even on the disc's front, but it's just not that sort of film at all. It only lasts an hour 26 minutes and tbh they could have just made a 20 minute YouTube video :(
