Well, iPhone 4.5 if the 3G/3GS thing is anything to go by.

At the moment I think I will stick with my 3G and then get the iPhone 5 in two years. The thing is, when I say that I find myself thinking there's no way that my 3G is going to keep me happy/survive for 2 years. :?

I have a friend who still loves him 1st gen iPhone. So I doubt that you will worry too much as long as you do not keep looking at the iPhone 4. :D

This is what I don't get about mobile phones. So many people seem to consider them comodities. (8-s)

I am wondering whether to keep my planned iPhone 4 for years like my existing phone or do the upgrade path. I could quite easily sell it on and keep upgrading but I have had my current phone for 5 years and it still runs well so no need to get rid of it yet.

Right now, I am quite happy with my 3G. However, I am considering replacing the battery - and the back case is showing its age from the usual wear and tear. It's also got a couple of cracks in it near the dock connector so I would replace the back casing too if I replaced the battery.

I didn't even realise you could replace the battery on a 3G.

I plan to hold on to my 3G for at least a couple of years, it does everything I need it to and more.

BTW have you peeps seen the Sciphone 4G clone yet? They don't waste any time, do they?

Some folks in China have claimed to have made a sleeve for the iPod Touch that turns it into an iPhone

My bumper arrived today!

I actually really like it!

It almost feels like it's part of the phone itself.

Was going to get an iPhone 4, but just found out you have to have leopard. Means I miss out as I can't afford a new computer too. I used to like it when Apple kept backwards compatibility. I love OS X, but I'm starting to go off Apple.

Actually, scratch that, although I've been told Leopard doesn't work on G4s, looking into it, I think it actually does. Either way, I don't see why they can't make the iphone work on Tiger.

White iPhone4 could be as late as mid-November.
