Lo peeps

Without wishing to offend any of you technically minded bods out there - our ICT crew are *rap  Our networked plotter keeps dropping off the network and they can't fix the problem. Yes they can reset the ip address but so can I - they just don't know why it's defaulting to this one address. So I suggested they use that ip address for the plotter as only two of us have connection to it and nothing else uses the address? Obviously too simple a fix for our bods

Oh well, the sun shines and I'm being sent out to take pics :D

Afternoon

Just watched Theresa May addressing the Police Federation Conference. Does she remind anyone else of an Orc from LotR?

All I ever seem to do here is say "Hi!" and then complain about something.

Today I'm going to try and make headway, instead of treading water.

Morning all.

Lovely sunny day in Kew.

Almost makes me want a beer instead of sitting here getting ready to install a VMWARE environment.

You weren't to know that there is a "Response to the FPOTD" thread, for exactly this type of post, but I'm sure that we'll forgive you ;)

Morning all,

Having fun and games sorting out a hire car for my wonderful weekend in Preston...

Have a great day everyone.

Not sure if you’re allowed to use the words Wonderful and Preston in the same sentence

Anyway off to a wedding at the weekend so some alcoholic beverages will be consumed

Morning peeps

Today I shall adopt Heather's positive attitude - I am positively getting out of here early to start my weekend :D

Thanks Heather ;)

Apologies for getting caught up in my "First MOAN of the Day Thread"

Internal network card routing through an external server - as are all our printers. It was just a statement on the general effectiveness of our IT bods - they have a policy of starting any answer with 'well, it's not that simple' :? Yes it is, but this comes from a section that can't link a Mac to the network

Woke up at 05:00 from a very strange dream... getting ready to go and install PCs in Preston. Yay!

Good grief Mr. Vella, I thought I was early for a Saturday.

Anyway, morning all. Looks like it's going to be another lovely bright, sunny and warm day (well, if you like that sort of thing).
I really should try and get some gardening done this weekend before the triffids really take over. Even the Chavs next door have cut the grass more recently than I have

Oh well, have a great day folks.
