I'm in demob happy but it's bloody busy mode as I have to close as many of my calls as possible before I finish today. Plus boss wants a handover by 1pm! ggrr! Still at least the day should go quickly!! :) 8-)

I've only been told I'll be paid "before the 30th" and that "the bank holiday has delayed things"...Not much of an answer :(

My last company had a crap policy like that.
I didn't think the "you'll be paid by the end of the month" idea was that good. I like me regular pay dates.

My work has a pretty straightforward 'last working day of the month' policy. Never been any ambiguity about pay dates at all.

I like the last Friday of the month, I can easily account for when I'll get my money...
Ho hum, I've managed to scrape £20 which should do for some shopping

we have a strange (to me) 4 weekly pay so it slowly shifts down the month. A real pain in the you know what when setting up regulat standing orders as ther are normally monthly for most things (Mortgage, Insurance etc)

Earplugs FTW!

Seriously, they've been a life saver. Whenever we see my GF's dad he snores so loudly, I mean you hear it anywhere in the same house. Earplugs have saved my sanity.
