Yeah, true. The phone does give you an indication though. According to my phone I have used 200mb down and 11mb up since December, so the new 500mb per month limit shouldn't cause me much of a problem! I'd always prefer to get that sort of data from o2 who are going to be charging me though, rather than relying on the device itself.

I asked Tesco if they would be selling the iPhone 4. No response yet.

The only decision I need to make is which network/tariff to buy it on I will definitely be getting it though. I've even been thinking of getting a new telephone number also (If I can get a nice number). I have a Sony Ericsson C905 at the moment and I have been envying iPhone users for the past 3 years! Anyone got any news about pre-orders in the UK?

It'll be a case of sitting on hold on the phones on the 15th or going in to a store an reserving one.

Orange and Three have said they will be offering pre-ordering/reserving on the 15th, good for me I'm thinking of moving to Orange providing they offer a good deal. I would suspect they will offer online ordering like the previous versions. I hope. I will be staying up to pre-order, if it's anything like the iPad should be around 12:30am.

Yep, went into the Orange shop today and was told it's a £60 pre-order deposit. I'll be staying up also. If I then have to collect from the store I'll be queueing at a store too for when it opens. I wonder if they'll do a midnight release?

Is that deposit for a PAYG or on a contract?
Did they give any indication of handset prices?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Vodafone & Orange have preorder pages up. O2 & t-mobile still on register for interest pages.
It's not looking cheap this time. £230 with a 24 month £30 contract

Are you sure that you did not find the iPhone 3Gs page? I got those same figures with Orange but for the iPhone 3Gs not the iPhone 4. I still have not found a pre order page anywhere. Best bit is on the Vodafone page is a review for the iPhone 4 that no one here has seen
