Tbh, sexuality is just another way to sell comics by creating headlines

I was thinking about this after the Peter Parker/Spiderman thing in one of the other threads. It basically means that whatever's "popular" at the moment influences the comics without taking into consideration the gravity of the situation.

Absolutely nothing is thought through at the moment when it comes to comics, they fully expect a reboot in a year+.

Future Shock! The Story of 2000AD review | Den of Geek
http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/future- ... 0ad-review

I'd love to see that even though I've never really read 2000AD itself, I've always gotten collections of some of the main stars if you like. And the Turtles doc was great, as was one on DC's villains.

BTW, I read they're killing the IDW Dredd series, at least for now.

Comic-Con: Frank Miller's 'Dark Knight III' to Feature Additional 16-Page Mini-Comics - The Hollywood Reporter
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-v ... ark-807605

I wish I could be more excited about that - Miller's an utter twat these days, apart from anything else. Something seems to go seriously wrong with comics' artists/writers in old age.

More projects

Batwoman's a brilliant character in the books, but there's some sort of weird obsession with the mystical and mythical there. Or the just plain weird.

I want something good around Blade so much that I'm prepared to ignore, 'You know what teenage girls are into? Vampires!'.

Love the comic idea. It's amazing who they can get now to do voices too.

Oh yeah, they're totally gonna ignore the vampires

ION, Batman's died again, the Spider family is now so large it's practically incestuous, and a Catholic Pope saw a bear defecating in the woods.
