Savlon blister plasters - next to no sticking surface AND they curl up the second they're removed from the backing

Why can nobody make popcorn anymore?

On a happier note, I can't tell the difference between Tesco vodka and 'better' brands.

Do you mean normal popcorn or all the crazy 'roast beef and armadillo flavour popcorn' that seems to have come from sodding nowhere. Let me make this clear : Any savoury popcorn other than simple salted is an abomination.

Well, vodka has little to flavour it other than alcohol anyway, most of the 'flavour' is in people's heads IMO. Can't stand the stuff personally.

You're right about the popcorn flavourings, but I mean that I've tried various brands recently, both sweet and savoury, and I might as well have eaten Styrofoam - I couldn't even have told the two types apart in one case.

With the vodka I mean the sort of 'sting' you get with it. For instance, Absolut is as easy to drink as water compared to some brands, but it costs a fortune as a result.

Lottery tickets - all the right numbers, just in the wrong places.

A member of the undead holding a letter opener worked out well :D

A TMNT book with some supposedly glow in the dark ooze... might send that one back.

It's that set from before - Amazon finally got around to it, basically.

I picked up a second hand Fuji Finepix HS30EXR

I regretted selling my Olympus baby DSLR almost immediately, but couldn't justify the cost of a capable replacement. The HS30 is a bridge camera, but is perfect for my modest needs.

Bought a Mecanno-style alligator for the nephew that I actually wound up building it was so fiddly. A springy Ninja Turtles head was rubbish. A dinosaur skull (99p first issue!) at least worked out well.

Last lottery ticket did nothing, bit more hopeful for the current one.

A bag of chips yesterday were absolute perfection, especially in the hellhole that is my work.
