I found it my accident when we were staying at a hotel in London back in March. Had the scotch eggs and sea bass. Was delicious. Think the menu has changed slightly since then as the scotch eggs were made up from rabbit & black pudding if I remember correctly. Really looking forward to it :)

Thinking of maybe the lamb rump mmmm

If you want a more intimate spot book the bar area where they have 2 tables. The restaurant is very noisy! I highly recommend it.

As I have posted previously, gravy is the oral lubricant of the gods. The king of all sauces.

If you don't like gravy, there's either something wrong with the gravy or there's something wrong with you. Sadly, many people have been exposed to minging monstrosities merely masquerading as this masticatery marvel.

My favourite is probably the classic caramelised onion and red wine. Great with sausage and mash. Mmmm.

My food is usually neither tough nor dry. It doesn't need soaking to be made edible.

My roasts are moist enough that they could be eaten without gravy, but I wouldn't have them that way. Gravy is nectar of the gods.

I loathe gravy that's too thin and turns everything into mush.
I like a nice thick gravy that stays where you put it. In moderation.
