Apparently DS9 is 20 years old today.

It's making it anyway.

I think Fringe is the best science fiction TV show currently screening.

Fraggle Rock was, and still is, awesome!
I enjoyed Knightmare, Danger Mouse and Count Duckula (from that list) too.

What a great way for the show to go out.

I didn't have you down as a Lost fan. I loved the entire series but was probably the only person I know who liked it.

The past few days I've been re-watching (season 1-3) and watching (season 4) of Misfits.

Loved it when it first came on TV and it's still just as good :D

My next TV series is definitely Homeland. Everyone has recommended it and I've never got round to watching it.

I've been a fan of Lost ever since it first started screening over here.

As I've said above, I just started watching Ideal.
I've still got season 4 of Fringe to watch and I have the first season of Grimm to watch too.
I've still to watch any of Misfits and still to watch season 1 of Fresh Meat.

Mike & angelo was disappointing because they showed a first season episode and I remember the Angelo being the chap from the second series onwards. Supergran was just crap but T-bag was as good as I remembered.

The first series I ever bought on VHS. When it came out, I was a big DS9 fan, but then I discovered Babylon 5 on re-runs and, to be honest, it has a much stronger storyline than DS9, but it didn't have Nana Visitor with that sexy, crinkly nose... I still regularly watch B5 on DVD, but I never bought DS9 on DVD.

I found a lot of season 4 of Fringe rather dull compared with how good the twin universe episodes of season 3 were. However the current (and unfortunately last) season is a return to form. Very dark in places.

Grimm is getting to be a good show. However there is a lot of scene setting and "monster of the week" episodes in season 1 until you get into the main plot. Season 2 has been far more interesting so far.

Misfits is awesome. The sort of thing that only British TV can do. Funny, irreverent, and almost nothing is too taboo.

The Big Bang! They don't make sciencey kid's stuff like that any more.

(My nostalgia has absolutely nothing to do with me having 'a thing' for Kate Bellingham when she was on Tomorrow's World  ).

I honestly don't remember Kate but I do remember Violet Berlin. Kate, it seems, left after season 2. Considering what I remember about Mike and Angelo (I remember Tim Whitnall as Angelo and I remember a brown haired Mike who got replaced by a blond guy with a Boston accent), I wonder whether either I caught shows later (missed the early ones because of lack of interest or competing show on CBBC) or memory.

Coincidentally married to or at least the long term partner of Gareth Jones y'know..

Later Big Bangs (and Little Bangs which were basically just 10 minute recuts of the Big Bang) were hosted by Michael Underwood and Kate McIntyre (you have no idea how much googling I had to do to find out what her name was. Er.. is). Violet never presented it. Although Kate was a kind of 'Violet lite' at the time.

Nostalgia is a great tricker of the mind.
