I hadn't bought anything from them in years and they were trying to tempt me back - £30 off a £60 spend. I looked at all sorts of stuff, but in the end the credit was all that made sense their prices are that bad. The code was 3QKPM if you wanna chance your arm; might still work for new customers for instance, as I imagine the code was sent out to lots of people. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen that happen... It shows up in really small print at the side when placing your order, gets refunded back to your card.

Why don't they simply reduce it from the total when you pay?

Because they've got multiple payment options is my guess, pay weekly and so on.

But what if you pay all at once?

No idea, I just put everything through as standard cos I wanna make sure everything goes to plan and leave no confusion.

Amazingly, Blockbuster sent me a title that was high up my list (GI Joe 2, yes, I'm out of things to watch), and now I've been able to 'top ticket' Metro 2033...

Sadly for BB, this is likely to be my last payment

After years wondering how to do it I managed to boil some eggs yesterday. So today I have ventured into making scotch eggs with ready made sausage meat. Decided on a spicy version with cumin, cayenne pepper and Tabasco. End result are 4 lovely spicy scotch eggs. Next objective to learn how to make my own sausage meat. 8-)
