Remembering that 2000AD has done very well under its stewardship, and that many artists from that publication worked on many other comics, including Misty.

I didn't know they'd done stuff like that.

The Judge Dredd Megazine ran a history of 2000AD and comics here as a whole. You won't know who worked in what because the publishers would not let artists or writers get printed credit for their work, so they all had to work anonymously. In fact, one of the editor's jobs was to examine the artwork and check for sneaky signatures, and white it out.

So, you'll find that those who worked on 2000 AD will have worked on many other publications that that publisher ran (and sometimes others in competitors if they were working freelance).

The outfits have been steadily getting more ridiculous across the shows, but... yeah

Legends is gonna be the full-on 'if this works anything is possible.'

8 Characters The Marvel Universe Shouldn't Use Anymore - SPOILERS
http://www.cinemablend.com/new/8-Charac ... 94277.html

Green Goblin - Even plain Norman shouldn't be used for years.

Darcy Lewis - Belongs in another series of movies entirely.

Nick Fury - Nothing wrong with an appearance so long as they give him something to get his teeth into, it was weak this year.

The rest there's little reason to retire or that couldn't be brought back with another actor. They're part of the glue that holds the standalone movies together. Stark would have been hateful without friends, for instance.

Tintin exhibition in Somerset House, London until 31st January. Will be going - just waiting for a friend to let me know when he's going so we can meet up there. He's probably going to expect a lecture similar to the one he gave about Frank Hampson at his birthday party one year.

Hard to feel enthused about that. Mostly cos Miller's such a dick now.

Well, that was a bit of a surprise.
Good on Lancaster University, I say.

Marvel Vs. Molon Labe Over Punisher Skull Trademark - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movie, TV News
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2015/11/24/ ... trademark/

I always wondered what the deal was when it appeared so prominently in American Sniper, right down to the name. Here they've also actively used the best known version of it, even though next to no-one saw the crappy movie it's from.

I actually loved the movie. I didn't know about The Punisher until Thomas Jane's portrayal. It then launched me into the Punisher world where I played and loved the PC game, and started buying Punisher MAX comics. Up until that point, the last and only comic I'd ever had was a He-Man one in the 80s.

That particular skull is very iconic and I would actually support Marvel on this one.

The film had the right ideas but the execution (heh) didn't impress me at all. War Zone was slightly better but I found it as... forgettable, really. I suggest you give Daredevil a try on Netflix if you haven't already, as Frank will be turning up in season 2.

I love the Punisher Max run, though I could do without Garth Ennis' apparent obsession with trying to shock with homosexual activity. By all means have it as a story point, but I actually think the guy might have a problem!

Hmm…Dark Knight 3 isn't that good so far….but there are 8 issues so hopefully it will improve. It loses a lot by not having Miller's art though; perhaps his drawing has got even worse!

Ennis' desperate attempts to shock became boring way back with Preacher.
