Morning all.

Another lovely day here, for now at least. I gather the lighting is due to arrive this evening.
Have a great day folks.

Moin moin

Guten morgen aus Deutschland. I'm currently sitting in the garden where it's 26 degrees and the birds are tweeting. It's gorgeous. 8-)

Moin moin Rusty, wie geht's Dir?

Wo bist Du? Hast du Zeit zu treffen, vielleicht morgen? (PM sent)

Gf's eldest daughter is 18 today. Made her an Original Hungry Monk Banoffi Pie for this afternoon - family is coming over for coffee and cake. She went out for her first solo drive this morning - she took advantage of the new scheme to take her test at 17, but had to drive with a named, qualified driver until she was 18. She brought her mum's car back in one piece. :)

Starting the look for a new job. :( Registered with the department for work yesterday, have an interview with them on 17th.

Morning all.

Lots of rain (and lightning) last night. Fortunately it appears to have been quite far away so none of my electrics have been fried like they were last year. Still, there's the whole rest of the summer to go.
Looks like we might be having another downpour in a few minutes as well.

Oh well, have a good day folks.

Afternoon all,

Just had to send a PM which I really didn't want to send. :(

Am now officially in a bad mood, to the extent that I shall go away now, rather than risk upsetting people.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, if you are able.

Atmen, Rusty, atmen. ;)

Unfortunately Rusty didn't have time to come and visit, so we took the bikes out and rode into Osnabrück, along the canal. It is a lovely ride (about 22KM) in lovely green surroundings - in fact, until the last 300M before the town centre, we were riding on dirt track cycle paths under a canopy of trees!

On the way back, Tina wanted to take a different route and we had to ride up the hill to Lechtingen, which is very long and very steep. The route back was 23KM, but all hills! :( Still, got to see over 50KM/H on the last downhill section, without having to pedal. I'm glad we didn't have to ride up that hill!

Morning all. Took an hour to drive 7 miles to work today. You can tell the bloody kids are back at school.
