Morning. I've got a zit on my forehead. Well, I did until I turned around in the kitchen and smacked my head on the corner of a wall cupboard door, with sufficient force to burst it!  Just. Frikkin. Oww! That bloody hurt! So, I've started the day by falling out with the missus; for leaving cupboard doors open! Wonderful.

Just sent a job application again. I don't like being ignored. At the very least tell me to Foxtrot Oscar, but don't ignore me.
In other news, my talents have been used recently to fix a brush cutter and dab some paint about. Onwards and sideways.

Grrrrrrr. Many applications and 3 replies - it's just fekking rude. ION, I might have a cleaning job on the way. It's not much but it'd be better than bugger all and besides which, I'd rather lose benefits and have some work to do. _________________Jim

Morning all. Started working in an IT dept yesterday. Still not got a computer or user account, and I can't be left alone until I'm given a staff pass, not just a visitor one, which requires someone actually decides if/how I'm going to be paid. Oh well. Got some 50-odd machines to image today, but no rooms to do them in so far as I know.

A few years ago I took a job selling concert tickets over the phone for £5 an hour rather than signing on, (which would have given me more money) but it's all about self respect... ION... Neck very sore today so light duties for me. Need to clean the sensors on my cameras and get the gear in tip-top condition for the annual pilgramage to Waddington. Must buy sunscreen.......

You know that thing I had the interview for? I've had some verbal feedback and it seems, disasters aside, that it might actually work out. If it does, I might be going back to uni in Sept 2012.  _________________Jim

Meeting with a customer, who feels aggrieved, this morning - more of a smile, nod and show sympathy affair, as it wasn't us who created the issue. We seem to be carrying the can for other peoples f*ckups an awful lot lately. I'll try to let them down gently, providing people leave me alone long enough to drink my coffee and prepare.
