We had >20cm of rain in 10 minutes in Alton this morning! Trouble is, the 10 minutes were the same 10 minutes I was walking to the station!
I was soaked through by the time I got to the station. Found out the bag is only shower proof, not torrential downpour proof! My Lee Child novel is ruined, my passport was soggy, my e-mail with the flight reservation was a sodden mass. All my other clothes were soaked through - so no popping into the loo and changing into something else!
Mobile 'phone and camera were soaked as well! Camera is drying now, 'phone still seems to work...
By the time the plane landed in Germany, my trousers were mostly dry, but my socks and shoes were still soaked (walking through 10cm + of water isn't what the water proofing spray was designed for! My underpants were still damp, as was my t-shirt! I put on my jumper in the end, even though it was damp, because I was getting a chill...

My MBP arrives tomorrow, so excited! Also just bought Final Cut Express for £70, which I didn't think was a bad price!

I don't know what that means I need to pee so badly. I don't know why I'm still sitting here when I could just go to the piddly diddly department and get it over with. I need to go so badly that it actually hurts, I think my kidneys are floating, and yet here I sit, still finishing a cup of tea and doing the pee-pee dance with my legs !!

I think he is referring to the little icons which appear at the bottom of his posts... the ones with "F" "T" and another "F" but with a different colour background. I'd assume that hot-linking means that she is using a link which goes to where his icons/pictures are held...

I'm feeling decidely peckish*, even though it's still an hour and a half until lunch. Maybe it's because I know I've got a salad, (complete with smoked salmon and a lime, lemon grass and chilli dressing) waiting for me in the fridge. * forget that - I'm now officially hungry! :etc: *sigh*
