Heads up for an absolutely superb Japanese film tonight:

"Death Note
A law student finds a mysterious notebook and discovers if he writes someone's name on the pages, they will die. Accompanied by a demonic creature, he resolves to use his power to wipe out the world's most dangerous criminals - but a teenage detective is soon investigating the spate of mysterious deaths. Japanese fantasy thriller, based on the comic-book series, starring Tatsuya Fujiwara and Ken'ichi Matsuyama"

I watched the series which is an absolute classic. I'm not sure if I've seen the film or not! There's also a porn version, which is rubbish.

Too late for me on a school night. I really should finish my PVR project...

China bans Death Note

The trailers I've seen for Deathnote haven't inspired me to watch it. I like anime, but it just doesn't seem like my kind of thing.
On the plus side, my wife has bought me Bleach series 4 for my birthday, so I can watch that soon. Plus series 5 is out Dec 27th.
