You can't learn about the Force at university. It's everywhere. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together. No degree could sufficiently explain that

3. Feel the Force: How to Train in the Jedi Way, Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland
We suppose it's inevitable that in a country where almost 400,000 people claim "Jedi" as their religion on the census (and a Jedi serves in Parliament), training as a Jedi Knight would be something one could study as part of the "open learning" program at Queen's University Belfast during the 2008–09 school year.

The aim of the course was to teach "the real-life psychological techniques behind Jedi mind tricks," which sounds super-productive. We can only hope no authorities found the droids they were looking for in Scotland that semester.

Eh? :?

'You're a Jedi? Fair enough, but are you a Protestant or a Catholic Jedi?'

Quote:
By the end of the course, students were expected to understand "that Batman isn't just a crazed brute tormenting his victims out of nihilistic hatred."

There's kids who could have told you that...

Do people get asked this question face-to-face, or is it only on job application forms (and the like)?

If Ernie has a midichlorian count to rival his post count, then he should qualify easily.

Hey, at least people will be "ready to roll out" and play SC professionally without years of practice at home...

Also what about Jewish and Muslim Jedis?

Jedi. The plural of Jedi is Jedi.

I'd love to see a conversation where someone says they're a Jedi - it's that sort of world and people I wanna see more of in day to day life :D

By the way Mark, on passing the Odyssey today there was some sort of Stormtrooper poster at the start of the pathway on the right, whatever that's in aid of. No glasses on, wasn't crossing the road (to the dark side?) to find out ;)

On the Protestant/Catholic bit, depending on where you are and who you're with, you'd be amazed how many tits in NI still think you have to pick 'a side' on arrival or whatever

Christ, you wanna see the looks I get just for wearing a GNR T-shirt or similar... you know, one that doesn't say Nike or Adidas etc
