Bookmakers William Hill have slashed the odds that a female Stig will take over from Ben Collins on Top Gear, with odds of 4/1 putting a woman driver ahead of former Formula One stars like David Coulthard and Damon Hill.
Jeremy Clarkson, the Top Gear presenter, has also placed an advert for a new driver to replace The Stig in his column, insisting that "he or she" must understand that "no one, under any circumstances, should ever rat on their friends".

And now onto the news. Now, you may have heard about some man going to court claiming to be the Stig. Understandably the Stig is furious about this, so furious in fact, he's gone and had a sex change. So next time you see some bloke wondering round claiming to be the Stig, ask him if he has a penis.

I guess The problem with a female Stig would be that she would be showing lots of large over inflated male ego's how to drive, not sure how they would take that.

Just like that German woman (I've forgotten her name) does every time they go to the Nuremberg Ring.
