Quite apart from that being nothing more than a stopgap while they continue diversifying the entire line-up in the hope of selling more than a few thousand copies... I don't remember anything in that character's history that suggests that injury would actually have killed them before you know what.

Just seems to be about sales rather than storytelling.

I think every other Marvel character has been killed at one point or another and then brought back again. Marvel has become total crap these days.
