Post subject:  Where to buy synthetic limbs??
According to some website im gonna need some, I discovered I got 2 purple blotches on my thigh, its not a bruise and have never experianced anything like this, some medical website says if you leave it too late then your limbs will fall off, great.

another website says that I will literally internally bleed to death. sounds like fun :(

so if it happans would anyone know the cost and ordering of limbs etc? or a gravestone by the sound of it

ps this is not a human reaction situation/drill/joke etc its quite real :cry:

You can get artificial limbs from your doctor. Go to him/her and tell them why you want one. They'll be able to advise you what ones are the best for you.

bratty, don't get wound up. These websites have to state the worst case scenario. Imagine what'd happen if they said "purple blotches are harmless and you'll be fine" and then your leg really did drop off! People would try to sue them.

The best thing to do is go see a real doctor - not the ones in the internetz.

You don't just buy one off the internet and stick it on after your leg falls off.

See a doctor FFS, it could be anything, people can get random blotches from being overweight or all sorts of dermatological conditions.

(At times I really wish people would finish writing their own jokes instead of leaving it to hacks like me.)

Bratty. See a Doctor. A proper one with a stethoscope and tongue depressors.

If the doctor looks anything like this, you may have stumbled into the castle next door by mistake. Make your excuses and leave - he won’t want your manky legs anyway, but he may want other parts for his “deeds”.
