I’ve got to organize a family meal in the area on a Friday night before a big wedding on Saturday (early next year). I have never been to the area myself so was wondering if anybody on the forum was local or knew the area and could recommend a place to eat which has a nice atmosphere, is suitable for a family get-together with children (young and teenagers).

Please help.........

Dee's the half brother

I know it reasonably well but can't for the life of me remember the place I ate at last time, I'll ask my parents as they spend quite a bit of time in the area atm

What kind of price range per head are you looking at?

Cheers Fin, not really worried about price it's the atmosphere for the adults and kids alike. So not to posh really sort of half-way-house between a Beefeater and Bistro if there is such a thing....
