Sometimes it's grand, other times I just get the buffering symbol - this is whether I'm on the PC or PS3. And it seems to be a problem at their end, cos the 'highlights' on the PS3 and other options shrink, but exit and come back, they're fine (sometimes) ![]() Anyone else having any problems with it? iPlayer I mean ![]() |

Listening to radio programmes I've missed I do seem to get the buffering symbol quite a lot over the past day or so. |

iPlayer is fine and dandy here, but then we're on cable and the speed isn't an issue. When we still struggled with a bit of wet string ADSL, it was painful. |

I'm currently on ADSL, but the connection's rock solid (buggy-ass Black Ops. actually proves that ![]() |

Isn't there an ongoing issue between the beeb and ISPs regarding iplayer bandwidth use? 20 meg line here, and I sometimes have to turn it off because it becomes unwatchable; due to buffering. |

You may be seeing traffic shaping in action from your isp. I wasnt able to watch iplayer at all in the evening with O2 but i have switched to a non-shaping ISP and i NEVER get any buffering anymore. Both ISPs use BT for their backhaul and my exchange has no llu suppliers. (isp is now XILO). Didge |

It's only recently though (O2), and sometimes it's fine for ages. It also doesn't explain the behaviour of the player itself, does it? ![]() |
