Currently have a Toshiba Strata billy basic setup with no access to even basic programming. 3 digi xts and 1 slt (BT Elements) with 2 channels of BRI.
Then there's the analogue situation. 4 lines, 1 for PDQ, 1 for payphone (I know, tell me about it), 1 for fax and ADSL and another for an additional ADSL connection which neither the line, or connection is used but the ADSL is in contract for another 18mths or so, not sure on the line. That line is BT. The 3 remaining and the digis are all with South West Comms, who did the owner here in with a lines/lease all in one special. Thanks innit.
Now the even more annoying bit. The DP where all of the lines come into the estate is in the manor house. Then they came underneath the road to the reception building I'm writing this from. We then have a DP by the NTE and PBX for the system to go on. However, none of the analogues are on the system, so I have no idea how many pairs come across the road and then turn into sockets at various points around reception.
The manor house is being sold, so we need to move everything here. Whether that means ceasing everything and then a re-provide I don't know. Thoughts?
What it has also highlighted is the fact that our system is crap and doesn't do what we want. But also, we have 40+ Scandinavian style lodges across the estate. Some of them have paid BT to install analogue lines for them and there is 20 or 50 pair running from the pole under roads in standard Openreach boxes to certain parts of the estate. Other parts however, are untouched. Obviously cabling those ourselves would be mega bucks, but what about IP stuff and wireless? The company I worked for did LG Nortel and when I left, their IP stuff was looking really tasty - flexible, inexpensive and modular. But I've no experience with wireless systems outside of DECT or complicated QoS piggy back wifi stuff. What I was thinking, was that if I could get say 10 lines of PRI in here and then say 30 DDIs, I could offer the lodge owners a DDI which would be cheaper than a dedicated line (bearing in mind it's a holiday home anyway) and would offer everyone the advantages of being connected to a PBX and make the business a few extra quid.
Are you still involved? Am I too far away for you? Do you know anybody else? Where are things at right now i.e. which brands are worth looking at and what about tech and who's good for lines?
I'd be really grateful for any help/advice you (and/or anyone else) can give. Thanks.

I'll pass your requirements to the relevant people tomorrow, but we can certainly arrange it. We primarily do Avaya IP 500, which is pretty competitively priced and extremely flexible. We can go over the details once we've got a basic quote put together.
We have a few customers in Cornwall, and loads around Devon. It is a little off our area, but generally once the system is installed (probably by me - good excuse for a south-west 404 gathering lol) everything else can be looked after remotely. The actual lines will all be installed by BT Openreach so for those we just do the arranging and the engineers will be local.
How many full-time staff? Can you PM me the exact address with postcode and phone numbers, and we'll start from there.
If the broadband is adequate, then you might consider SIP. We could port the existing phone numbers over, and it would be cheaper than ISDN30 by a lot.
