funny you say that when Im wanting to plan to go down to leicster to visit a friend I made off CPCFF forum :)

ooh, that's about 40 minutes up the road from me & quite a few other forumites here. Not been on CPCFF since a 24 hour thread a while back where everyone said my avatar was gay because it was pink lol, but are you meeting anyone we know here? Shame Heather is in that foreign Essex like, but Leicester is still a lot closer than many places.

I've not met up with anyone since the Exeter meet absolutely ages ago, and KW most Fridays down my local pub - not that he's posted here recently. If anyone is up for random mini-meets perhaps they could post here when they're going to be in this or that town?

I'm hoping to get down to the Riviera some time soon, so I'll post here when it happens :)

I remember; there's a relevant thread on here somewhere :)

So does Sheridan, and quite a few others are around this area - I'm sure someone is or has been in Rugby, which is about 1 stop on the train.

Edd is/was in Rugby - not sure if he's still there though.

It would be nice to have a meet in the Malt Shovel - not been yet despite it being a very short walk away.

:o How very dare you!

I'd not be caught dead that far north of the Thames.

I'll let you know next time I'm in the MK area. Perhaps we can arrange an East Midlands meet-up?

Yeah, it's scary up North. You develop a backbone and have to stop suckling on your mother. Oh and you have to unwrap yourself from cotton wool. ;) :D

There are some lovely bits of Essex, I should say. Most of it I dislike is the bit closest to London. Horrid.

I live in that which was once known as the Garden of England but now has so much concrete it's more a patio before you get to the water feature of the English Channel.

By the way, adidan, I'm off up to Wigan at the end of this week. I have done Manchester, Kendal and Glasgow, too. Oh, and York was beautiful. It's just that getting through Essex bit that kills me. ;)

Aye, I lived in York for 3 years and go back fairly regularly. We'll be heading back there at some point to live.

I'm on the Essex / Middlesex / Hertfordshire border and close to London. It's still pretty. I gather the bits you don't like are the Barking / Romford areas.

That explains a lot Caz*. :D

* What it explains I have no idea, but I'm sure there's alot of it whatever it is.

Ah, a country girl. That explains even more.

I apply the same proviso to that comment as I did my last though. ;)

Wouldn't say Barnet was the country. You know what they say about assumptions.....

I'm mostly in Bath atm, but I still go back to Rugby from time to time. TeamChelsea (or was it even BlueNowhere???) also used to live in/near Rugby.
