I'll go with real (other) in that I have no idea what ours is. This concept is entirely the domain of the Wench, and it lives in the garden the rest of the year. |

I love the idea of a pie tree. We haven't put up a tree for nearly 20 years. With only the pair of us, neither particularly enamoured of the season, it doesn't really seem worth the effort. I think we binned the old plastic tree that Best Beloved's mum used to have. |

Real Norwegian for use, keep that old Saxon tradition going. I like the smell more than anything. |

Aside from putting the tree up, (it is in three sections, and I assemble it) I leave decorating the plastic tree, (which Mrs. V has had for about 20 years) to the wife and kids... I still can't believe that I managed to get out of putting the damned thing back in the loft, (after last Christmas) for the whole year! ![]() |

I would usually have a spruce as a friend of mine grows them. However, this year, my other friend who usually gives me a lift with his trailer to go and get it had too much to drink at his works Christmas do, so couldn't do it. My wife had her heart set on getting the tree last weekend, so I ended up having to go and spend 35 quid on a fir from the local garden centre. |

3ft plastic tree on top of the TV cabinet. It is literally the only xmas decoration in the flat. ![]() |

I have fake as well. It is having its sixth outing this year. Same decorations as well. None of this one time only decorations that I hear are everywhere this year. |

I do poses a little 3' fake "Tesco Economy" tree which I think can look quite nice, although the comments on here were not favourable last time I showed it off. However, unless I leave it up for ages there's not much point since no one apart from me will actually see it. |
