Yeah it's like one of those end of year shows you're trying to avoid on telly!

I'll just create the thread, give me a minute to check IMDB and jog everyone's memories...

Toy Story 3
Alice in Wonderland
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
Inception
Shrek Forever After
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
Iron Man 2
Despicable Me
How to Train Your Dragon
Clash of the Titans
The Book of Eli
Shutter Island
Green Zone
Nine
Kick-Ass
Robin Hood
Sex and the City 2

Do the films have to have been released in 2010, or can we include ones that we've seen this year?

Even better if they weren't released in 2010 :)

Kick-Ass kicked ass. Well actually he didn't, but hit-girl did :D

Despicable Me was the only film I watched in 3D, and it was moderately amusing. Certainly not worth the extortionate London ticket prices I paid x2 because it was a date...

Not seen the rest, although Alice is on my "to do" list. It's one of my all-time favourite stories; me and a billion other people!

The only two I've watched from your list.

Also saw A-Team but wouldn't rank it up there in my Top 5.
Tron Legacy may have well been up there but not seen it yet.

I've seen about half of the films on that list.

Top five:
1) Toy Story 3 - Always well made, and humour both kids and adults can enjoy
2) Kick-Ass - Much, much better than I was expecting - very good
3) Green Zone - A bit slow in places but well acted and shot
4) Inception - Good film, but too reliant on the effects to top the chart
5) The Book of Eli - Not sure why, but I really liked it

Okay, people may have missed this …

I don't think the films have to have been made this year, as long as you've seen them this year.

I was in South America for most of 2010, I would say that Inception was the best, though it's still slightly overrated, saw it on my own in La Paz as I was late for my date... I think I enjoyed it more :p

so:

1: Inception
2: In a Lonely Place (Mark's rules)
3: Kick Ass
4: Ben Hur (Tim again)
5: Shutter Island

Some might say that's a blessing.

Didn't see many of them but thought this was a pretty crap year for films personally. Enjoyed shutter island, but was the ending was slightly spoiled by having read the book.

I saw the Bourne trilogy (on DVD) this year, would that count?
What about The Dark Knight? Have seen it about five times on DVD and still lovin' it.

I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet, but the rest wouldn't make my list of top films...

I think it has been a pretty poor year. I've certainly walked out of more films this year than ever before...
