Morning all,

Didn't get anything done yesterday as when we got home Faye decided she only wanted to watch films on my Mac (we have no TV and my Mac has the largest screen, unless I set up the projector, but that projects over the Mac).

I've been called in for a second interview from the company I had an interview with last Friday, this new interview is 8:30am on Thursday in a town about half hour away. Reckon I can get the train there and the bus back...

Parents are coming up tomorrow for my Mums birthday, should be nice to see everyone, not sure what we're going to do though...

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning all. Didn't sleep well again last night. Sleepy now. Got some major changes to make today when I get to work. Going to have to be careful.

Hello.

Not much to report from here. Same old, same old.

Oh, Best Beloved had a haircut. That was the single most exciting thing that happened yesterday.

I wonder if it'll be more or less exciting today?

Morning all

Well the most exciting thing to happen to me yesterday was I got in touch with an old school friend who I haven't seen in about *mumbles* 20 years! She lives up in Newcastle now but her brother is still down here so I may very well see her again.

My other half also got a haircut recently. He now has white tide marks round his neck lol!

Have a good one all

Still the official cheeky one :-D

Morning all.

I'm in work in body but not in soul. 4 days and counting now, got far more interesting things on my mind than solving elementary computing problems all day.

Morning all.

Half the printers on my work PC appear to have dissapeared for no apparent reason what so ever. Very frustrating. Come on IT.

Have a good day folks.

Lo peeps

Second attempt at posting today - just not with it these days. Example:

Today is the wife's birthday :D List of things I forgot:

card
present
flowers
cards from boys
present(s) from boys
cake

So, restaurant booked, flowers ordered, will pick up presents/cake/cards at lunchtime. Anything else I've forgotten???

Morning all.
Got to work early as the wizard who's meant to be on call this week has taken the next 10 days off.
The bloke really is a waste of time.
Might have to take the tech manager for a beer and a chat.

Lo peeps

I survived the birthday fiasco by inviting all her mates round for coffee and cake. I did have to buy more cake though

Just getting to grips with the fact I'm going to walk away from the old car. The scrappy will take it but I get to keep the wheels/tyres, battery and windscreen wipers :D Even if I have to give them away, at least the scrappy won't be making money off them. Must empty the windscreen wash as well.

In other news - nah, you don't want to hear it.....

Last day in work now before everything kicks off.

Spent a very pleasent evening with SWMBO yesterday, she made a cake for nephew's birthday (also our wedding day!). We then sat down and watched Sherlock, which was thoroughly enjoyable indeed. Really good to see some more good, intelligent drama on the Beeb.

3 days and counting!

Morning.

More expeditions into the nether regions today. This time, Gillingham Business Park to a DIY emporium the size of a small country.

Then, on to other stuff. It's not the stuff I actually want to be doing, but it's stuff.

Onwards and sideways.
