I called up Endsleigh a while back to change my address. They forgot to cancel my old address policy and so I over paid. They said they would send out a refund (£45 ish) as a cheque. I asked if they could do it as a BACS transfer as I have an online account and it's not convenient to pay a cheque in. They said that was fine. I have just received a cheque... Just rang up to ask why this wasn't a BACS payment after I had specifically asked for one. She took my account number and confirmed it was me and then she apologised and said she would get the £160 refund re-processed as a BACS payment. Erm... how much? I decided not to say anything. I'll see what happens over the next few days. |

They were pretty cr*p when I was a student, long ago. Always making mistakes and generally poor. But we were only students and couldn't get insurance elsewhere. Glad to see some things stay the same. |
