Anybody else seen Terminator Salvation? I thought it was pretty rubbish - you don't spend long enough with one set of characters to care about 'em, and there isn't a standout moment in the film that manages not to be laughable ffs Oh, and the 'cameos' were absolutely atrocious, esp. a certain English actress who really should have known better I honestly can't tell if it equaled T3 for averageness or was worse - just like that film, it was a retread of all the best ideas of the first two

I quite liked it, but not for it's plot. I thought the CGI was fantastic and it was an entertaining popcorn romp, but I wasn't expecting an awful lot.

It was so dire I decided it wasn't even worth a lambasting in the films thread.

See, that's just it, I need structure! Not just 'Christ, this dialogue isn't going well cos we've no story - quick, show a different kind of Terminator!'

I knew there was already a thread for this sort of thing Oh well, maybe the title will draw someone in and the studio/cinema won't get another victim (IMO )...

I've not heard a single good word about this movie, gutted. Oh well, I won't bother then. Can someone just gimme an insight into Bale's performance? I just can't believe he'd be crap

He's not crap, he's sort of in 'Reign of Fire mode', if that makes sense. He's fighting for screen time, basically... In fact, everybody in the film is

I think I’ll just stop with watching he first two then. The third was not good. If the Marx Brothers had turned up, I would not have been surprised.
I did enjoy the TV series, which took a different tack. Maybe a third series of that would have been money better spent.

The first 15 minutes of the film were great, the half terminator was terrifying, then it all went wrong. I was truly bored. Good effects let down by a simple plot that didn't have the details to keep it alive.
3 out of 10.
If you want to see a good movie at the moment, Drag me to Hell is really worth a watch.

I heard during filming he was so in character that he flips at the a crew member, I think maybe he realised what a terrible film he was doing. Especially with Mc "G" at the helm, the name should have given it away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssoZzNmD0I8
