Just wondered really. Personally I don't drink tap, obviously there have been health debates based upon this but I don't know a lot about it and I tend to take it with a pinch of salt. The main reason I drink bottled spring water is because I don't like the taste of tap. Hobgob. |

I bought myself a Britta filter a few years back and have got into a habit of drinking from that. If I'm out in a restaurant, I don't mind asking for a jug of tap water. Some won't oblige, but the majority of ones do seem to. Peter. |

I mostly drink council pop, but I like some of the bottled waters as they don’t have the slightly odd taste. |

I am too mean to pay for water. It is environmentally unfriendly too. ![]() |

Tap. Simply because bottled is an added expense. |

Tap water here. When I lived near West Malling, however, I had to buy bottled. The local stuff was cloudy and tasted of TCP. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Either. If I'm out travelling somewhere, then of course it's bottled. If I'm at home or in the gym, then it's tap. Simples. |

I prefer tap water, and I actually prefer the harder water back in Wiltshire than I do the soft water back in Aberystwyth... One thing we found out the other year, the house back home which we have lived in for twenty years now, still has it's original lead pipe as the main pipe into the house! In fact, I don't think we've had it replaced... Bottled is OK, but it's very expensive for what it is... |

<Cornish accent> Round here, it tastes right on! </Cornish accent> Therefore, I don't see the need to pay for bottles. I imagine it's worse up the line....? |

Well I live in the Midlands and our water comes from North Wales, yet it still tastes gross. I'm yet to go anywhere I have enjoyed the taste of tap water. Its not really expensive, I never buy the 500ml bottles. Tend to buy in bulk. Hobgob. |

I drink tap water. And lots of it. I personally can't tell the difference between tap and bottled water really, and the only time I drink the bottled variety is when I go on holiday (EG Spain) as it has a high mineral content (am I right?). |

I have found it best not to drink water on it' own for a few weeks and drink even more tea than usual to get accustomed to the taste (coffee and squashes don't seem to work as well)... When I went to uni in Aber I caught the usual cold people get and drank about twelve pints of water a day for the first month and a half...I was pretty used to the taste after that... |

There's nothing wrong with tap water in Reading so I drink that. I wouldn't want to use plastic bottles anyway, it is not good for environment. I can tell the difference between tap and and bottle but I can't really say that one is better than the other... |
