There's a few people at work who are teetotal for one reason or another. Recently Fatboy and Zoe gave up drinking for good which led to them having their second baby. I don't consider myself a heavy drinker but I do have the odd binge. I'm not the sort of person that has a drink and can't stop, I quite happily have 2 glasses of wine on a Thursday when seeing my Mum.

What about the rest of you? Any of you sustain completely? Think you have a problem with drink?

I tend to never drink on a school night unless I'm on a late and then I might throw in a couple of cans of weak ale. Not every weekend either because I don't really want to spend one of my two days off a week being ill.

Normally a couple of glasses of wine with Dinner but that's about it really.

I might have a beer two or three times a week, but only one on any given evening.

I hope you meant 'abstain' there! :)

I prefer not to drink on a school night, but pretty much any excuse will do for an exception.

Once I start drinking, I intend to become progressively more tipsy until it's time for bed. On a Friday I usually have my first drink at 10pm.

What I can't bare is having one or two glasses of wine with lunch or dinner like my parents do. They have dinner at 6pm, so by 7pm we've stopped drinking and if I elude sleep then I end up being grumpy with a hangover by 8pm :?

I haven't had a drink of alcohol since 1992.

Actually, someone suggested lime cordial and Skittles the other day - new one on me, so I might give it a go out of curiosity :)

Well, it's 'meh' with 7-Up that's for sure... Drinking it with Coke now ;)

I chose special occasions as that was closest to 'occasionally'... though I do have a 1l bottle of Smurf in the fridge that is being tested with various brands of fizzy pop (a random notion that's actually came to fruition!).

Lucozade and Gin is a combo that goes down quite well. :)

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I don't do whisky or vodka, but gin and tequila are more than acceptable.

Alcoholic drinks tend to be very sporadic. Some weeks it might be 2 or 3 times during that week then followed by 2 or 3 weeks with nothing and then what the puritins would call a "bender"

I knew Mark was teetotal, but I thought we had some others here too....

I will every now and again, but I'm not a heavy drinker and I find people who do drink heavily to be generally ranging from unattractive, to annoying, to downright dangerous.

The odd glass of wine with a meal at home.

Apart from that, hardly ever.
