By popular request. So, where were you - if you'd been born by then - in 1981? I had left school, passed some exams, and decided not to go on to sixth form. I'd started my first full-time job, which I hated. |

I was at secondary school....2nd year, I think. Might even be the year I got a school prize for achievement. Never reached such dizzy heights again. |

My granddad died, and I was at home very ill with glandular fever. It all went a bit wrong that year. |

Left 6th form and started working my way through the female population (brilliant), and studying to be an accountant (dull). |

I was probably sucking on breasts, knocking back a bottle or two a day and crapping my pants. Although I would have only been 7 months old at the time. Not much changes 30 years later really |
