Heather’s avatar is what an iPad sees when someone is doing “gestures” and “manipulations”.

She was choosing the crop for her new Facebook profile photo from one of her uploaded photos. She needed two hands to stretch the box out far enough.

Is there anything more fun that shoulder-surfing on the bus

It was even more obvious than that. She was sat opposite facing me

Maybe it was the size of the device (I'm used to my 4 incher) or the way she was balancing it or her knee when doing two handed touch gestures?

Sorry, I was busy demonstrating my Super-App to my colleagues, so was away for a while. Thanks Jim.

Normal service will be resumed shortly... ;)

Click - 19/02/2011

A special show from World Mobile Congress in Barcelona reveals what's in store for handsets and tablets over the next year. Also includes tech news and Webscape.

You might have to wait a few months for some of those, but good to keep informed I spose :)

Click's always worth keeping an eye on if you're interested in gadgetry. Not always much detail, but they do show stuff that's a bit further away form the shops than the rest do which is nice.

+1, and it isn't afraid to expand on some of the pitfalls of, say, Kinnect or 3D. Other shows struggle in that regard...

I can't help wishing Kate would put some weight on though

Ooh, I hate Spencer Kelly. He takes being a smug sod to a whole new level.

I don't mind him actually, though there's something about the way he says, 'Here's Kate with Webscape' that sounds quite downbeat or something, compared to his usual 'presenting' :?

Watched it now.

God I hate Spencer Kelly (or did I mention that already)

No prices listed on the tablet computers.

I suspect that they won't be cheap compared to the iPad.
