I get sick of stupid song lines, especially when they are only made to rhyme with something difficult. Here are a few of my least favourite-
"You're my i i i i i, your my favourite waste of time" And my second favourite waste of time is train spotting.
"Girl I'm going to make you sweat, sweat 'til you can't sweat no more." Well, thanks very much for that.
"Sometimes the snow comes down in June." (maybe) "Sometimes the sun goes round the moon." Er, No!
"There are nine million bicycles in Beijing. That's a fact." Actually, it's probably a favourable estimate based on sales and other statistics, however- "We are twelve billion light years from the edge, That's a guess." Actually, it's probably a pretty damn accurate figure calculated by some of the finest minds on the planet.
And my all time least favourite on so many levels "I'm as serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer."
There was a much newer one on the radio today, but I'm damned if I can remember what it was. Anyone else have any?
