I just wear whatever's in the drawer whether thermal, boot, ankle or whatever, unless I'm actually wearing a pair of boots or proper shoes. They're all black or gray and you know me, cheap

I tend to buy mine all at the same time and all the same colour etc...

That way I rarely have an odd pair.

I have some technical socks for running in and a nice pair of Paul Smith socks too.

Paul Smith, nothing else comes close. I just wish I was rather better at darning.

My sock draw is a complete mishmash of different styles and colours. And I never pair my socks. If I grab the nearest two and they happen to match, the ducky for those that care.

Black socks go grey too easily, they're cheap enough to replace every few weeks

How are you washing them?

I have some dark socks for dark trousers and some light socks for light ones. Nothing worse than getting those the wrong way round. It's a sign you're a barbarian . I also have several pairs for when hiking & etc, a layer with wicking properties then a nice fleecy layer for warmth.

The more colourful the better.
I think at the moment I have enough pairs of socks to last me about two months wearing a different pair a day before I would need to wash any of them.
