On the news today - asthmatics advised not to go out in the afternoon, stay inside, keep doors and windows closed and try not to breathe in badness. It’s the haze - it’s quite bad, and can affect breathing.

I went to the coast today - and yes, it was very hazy. It was also odd as the horizon wasn’t in evidence. Usually at Walton, you can see the ships going in and out of Harwich. Today there was none of this - even the docks at Harwich weren’t visible. The light was odd too - very bright, with very sharp shadows.

I think we're just not used to seeing sunshine in this country.

Well I think all asthmatics should move to the dustiest Canary island. Haven't used my inhaler once in over a month. And we regularly can't see the horizon due to Calimas from the Sahara.

Maybe you should update your location :D
From memory you aren't commuting between Cornwall and the Canaries.

Perhaps you're right! Although I know people who commute further from Cornwall on a weekly basis, it's definitely easier to live here.
