Ordered a copy of Portal 2 last Tuesday (19th April) from www.hmv.com with an expected delivery of last Thursday (21st).

The item was despatched using The Home Delivery Network on Tuesday at about 4pm.

Now, 7 days later I still have not received the item and it looks like it isn't going to get here today either!

The only reason I bought it is because of the cheaper price but I think I'd rather have paid more and been able to play it over the weekend.

GRRRR!!!

You'll have to wait another hundred years, or so, before you can call it the slowest delivery service... ;)

XBox 360 :(

I would buy it on steam but my nearly 4 year old MBP struggles to play Portal 1 at low settings and resolution.

This is why I order online via next day delivery if I want something urgently. Usually it's still cheaper than buying it in the shops!

'Lost' my bank card on thursday, the same day that I placed an order with rockauto.com in the US for some parts.
Some of parts have arrived today, but RBS haven't managed to get a card out to me yet. Any day now, apparently...

*'Lost' card has since turned up, btw.

Well, I meant to check earlier, but I had forgotten- I ordered a couple of items from one shop two weeks ago and NOTHING has been done with it since the day the order was placed. Never mind that it hasn't arrived- it hasn't been dispatched.

Unless I pay for next day delivery, I do expect a couple of days delay in dispatch, but this is taking the p***

I don't need the items right away, but as soon as they do arrive I will be organising the bits and pieces involved and there are reasons why I want to get on with it.
