OK - two apologies. First one for picking such a crap subject (it did seem to be popular with camera clubs so I thought what's the harm...) and second one for not submitting a pic myself. I did try but my Broadband has been running at 230-250Kbps download and the likes of ImageShack and PhotoBucket just can't seem to tolerate those speeds. Anyway, let's all have a go at voting shall we??? The rules: * Voting occurs for one week from midnight on the last day of each month until midnight on the seventh day of the month. * Please vote for your favourite three images. * You cannot vote for your own image* Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points. Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points. Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point. If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here. Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked). This thread will run for 1 week only closing at midnight on Saturday 7th May. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month. Most importantly, good luck to all entrants. Strict Tempo - Captures the moment don't you think, and very well executed. Timbre - Cheerful and colourful. Choirs & Campanology - Interesting choice of a subject, very lateral.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I must confess I was also expecting there to be a late run of entries. Certainly a high standard of entries. And so to voting:
1 - Into the groove. 2 - Strict Tempo 3 - Chilling and Relaxing

Voting closed, votes counted and the winner is: HeatherKay Congratulations Heather Not an especially popular subject I have to say but it may just be Spring lethargy - let's hope so. Anyway, Heather will think of a topic shortly and we can all make an extra effort to get at least something submitted (my pics from last month are still in the camera - exif info available). Congratulations again Heather and well done to the magnificent 7 (-2) Al 1. HeatherKay - Strict Tempo - 37pts
2. belchingmatt - Into The Groove - 25pts
3. davrosG5 - Choirs & Campanology - 18pts4. bobbdobbs - Chilling & Relaxing - 6pts 5. Spreadie - Timbre - 4pts Al
