And the good news is that my Dad took part in a concert last night. He's been a violin player most of his life, but obviously his operation last year meant he had to stop. He's been going to rehearsals for a while, first as an observer, but more recently he's been playing. Last night will have been a big marker point in his recovery, and a welcome break from other troubles for my mum (see other recent post). I'm really glad that he's back to his violin in this way too. He'll be unstoppable again soon. |

Thank, all. This is certainly excellent news. Not only this, but he recently changed his car and is now driving long distances. I am truly staggered at the speed of his recovery - I was expecting him to take much longer. |

Absolutely. The concert was in St Albans Cathedral - a place where he’s always wanted to play, so he’s dead happy about it. |
