So there I was in Forbidden Planet once, down stairs, where there is a life-sized R2-D2 model. Small kid and dad appear. Kid runs towards R2D2 shouting “look, a Dalek!”.

I cannot begin to describe the uncomfortable, cold, awkward silence that followed.

My cousin was in the same store and a woman came in returning a Star Trek Phaser on the grounds that it does not work. :roll:
