Has anyone ever used any Monster earphones before?

Any feedback on what they're like? They seem to get a lot of good write ups but it's hard to find a review that isn't sponsored.

A friend of my brother is selling a pair for £80 inc P&P and I was in the market to get a new pair of earphones. The control talk is a bonus too as it will work with my iPhone.

Anyone got any stories? Anyone got any recommendations for any other earphones for the same price range?

Dunno about their headphones but their cables are famously monumentally overpriced.

As for other brands, you generally can do a lot worse than Sennheisser.

Yeah, for that money you can get a brand new pair of HD555s, which are seriously awesome. Monster are renowned for making overpriced [LIFTED] in an industry renowned for it's overpriced [LIFTED] ;).

Have a look at head-fi.org. That's the site I used when I was researching earphones for the iPhone.

There’s a whole load off the Essex coast, as well as north Kent. I’d really like my other half’s uncle to take me out to them in his boat.
