Gwyneth Paltrow is hiring a nanny/tutor for her two kids

http://agentbedhead.com/index.php/archi ... ll-hiring/

Quote:
You’ll be:
• Fluent in four languages [Latin, Classical Greek, French, and Spanish]
• Grade 8 standard in two [musical] instruments
• “Probably” an Oxbridge graduate
• “Passionate” about sailing and tennis

Good luck everyone.

pays £60kp.a. for 2-4 hours work a day and you get expenses and a free flat in west london

Not too shabby tbh, at least if you lose your job you can sell the story to the sun ;)

At that sort of income, you could possibly start to think about paying off the debt you created acquiring the talents and qualifications she's looking for...
Mind you, it's also London. So that £60k is actually equivalent to £14k elsewhere. ;)

I worked it out, I'm earning £7,000 less than in my previous job in London, effectively "net" though it's only £1,200 less. :D

60K, plus a flat... Even for west London, that isn't too bad... How much would a flat in West London cost per month, if you had to pay for it out of the 60K? That is the *real* salary. ;)

Hang on a minute...

Her husband plays two instruments and has a first in Greek and Latin from UCL. How about he stays at home and stops subjecting the rest of the planet to his pestilential, mind-numbing, pseudo-intellectual musical sh*ttings?

It's a bit mental, to be honest. As if an oxbridge graduate who speaks four languages and plays two instruments to near professional standards

a) Would want to look after someone's kid as a job, regardless of how famous they are
b) Couldn't earn more than £60K without even breaking sweat.

Seriously, someone with that kind of CV could get a job in the city and earn 10 times that without having to do anything even vaguely strenuous.

That combination of skills will be worth a lot more than they are offering even if you have them. Having Gwyneth on speed dial is not worth the difference.
